How we write these guides
- Official sources only. Export steps come from each exchange's help center; rates and forms come from the tax authority. Every guide lists its sources and the date we checked them.
- The boring parts first. Most tax-report errors start with a missing file or a transfer between your own accounts. We cover those before anything else.
- Software only where it helps. If a plain CSV for your accountant is enough, we say so. When we recommend software, the link is labelled as a referral link.
- Not tax advice. We explain the rules; a qualified professional should check your return.
